Room 4 (Contemporary after 1946)

The last exhibition hall presents a collection of militaria produced after 1946. To reach this hall the visitor must watch out for a parachutist landing wearing a WUK 67 pilot’s suit and a GSH-6M flight helmet.

In this room visitors can see an extremely varied collection of military headgear which was used in various countries of the world. Particular attention of visitors is drawn by the helmets used in armoured troops, air force helmets and navy headgear. There are also some very interesting exhibits presented in this room. These include a gas mask for a horse from the 1950s, a sapper’s training outfit, boots weighing several dozen kilograms, and a brass diver’s helmet. The last element of the exhibition is a Soviet machine gun DszK wz. 38.
